small base...kinda of far from everything...we left just as they were building new housing. Went back to visit family a few years later and saw the housing...while it is very nice I would not want to live there since it is so far from civilization...no bx commisarry etc. does have a shoppette (do not know if it is 24 hours yet). Child development center is pretty nice...Mostly I loved the area...we lived on peterson and then got an apartment off base (you can find a bunch of nice places to rent by peterson for way cheaper than BAH). So much to do only regret was we didnt take advantage of all the area had to offer while we were there.

Small base for the satellite ops. Does not have any services. Has new housing though.
